The downloads of the apps mentioned have increased by 47 percent in the second quarter of 2020 compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The Q2 is still running for almost a month. It is estimated that around 656 million apps have been downloaded. The Q1 is thus clearly exceeded. The Q1 is usually particularly strong, as many users celebrate the start of the new year with many good sports resolutions.
Not only the downloads but also the turnover with the apps mentioned has increased. Year-over-year sales increased 13 percent to $ 328.5 million. Strava in particular benefited and saw download growth of 179.2 percent from January to May.
