Huawei usually attracts attention especially with excellent smartphone cameras. With the Honor Play 4 Pro, the company has now introduced a cell phone that makes headlines with another feature.
The special thing about Honor Play 4 Pro is that it has an infrared temperature sensor on board. As a result, the smartphone is apparently able to measure your body temperature. What is nothing more than a nice gimmick in normal times could prove quite useful during the Corona pandemic. At least in China, temperature checks are a common way of identifying potentially sick people.
The Honor Play 4 Pro is a flagship
The supposed corona feature is of course not Huawei’s only selling point. With the Kirin 990, the Honor Play 4 Pro has the same chipset as Huawei’s flagship P40 Pro. The performance should therefore also meet the highest demands – especially since there are also 8 GB RAM.
Unfortunately, the Honor Play 4 Pro does not get the excellent camera from the Huawei P40 Pro. Instead, it has to settle for a 40 MP main lens and an 8 MP telephoto lens. The first camera tests will soon show what is possible with it.
Is the Honor Play 4 Pro coming to Germany?
It is uncertain at this point in time whether and when the smartphone will appear in Germany. If there is a release from us, you would probably have to do without Google services – as was the case with Huawei and Honor recently.
