Yesterday, Huawei officially released Weibo, explaining that Huawei products are making efforts to save the earth’s resources from design to packaging. Huawei said: “We have always designed products that are more environmentally friendly and more in line with ecological principles. Is our goal and responsibility.”
According to statistics, from 2015 to 2019, the energy efficiency of Huawei’s mobile phone products has increased by about 50%. Huawei’s Mate series flagship models have increased their packaging placement rate by 68%, with a standardized packaging design, and doing their best to use every inch of the gap. The improvement in the packaging installation rate is the result of comparing the packaging of Huawei Mate40 and Mate7 mobile phones , indicating that the Mate40 series packaging will be green and pollution-free.
Huawei also said that the proportion of plastic packaging materials for Huawei’s P series flagship models has decreased by 17%, reducing the use of plastic by 17,500 kg per 10 million mobile phones. The packaging of Huawei products uses 100% environmentally friendly soy ink to replace the original petroleum-based ink.
The packaging weight of Huawei’s Mate series flagship models has been reduced by 55 grams, reducing paper usage by about 550 tons per 10 million units, which is equivalent to 9,350 trees. The packaging weight comparison here also uses Huawei Mate40 and Mate7 mobile phone packaging for comparison.
In addition, Huawei product suppliers have established 100% of the QC 080000 hazardous substance process management system.
