According to foreign media OnlyTech, the streaming media giant Netflix now allows non-member users to watch Netflix original series and movies for free without creating a Netflix account. This feature can be accessed on the desktop and Android browser . However, the iOS browser does not currently support it. Netflix’s support team confirmed this development.
OnlyTech independently verified the existence of this feature, which provides a selection of Netflix original series and movies.
But only the first episode of the series is free, and provides an option to subscribe to continue watching the series. Netflix’s original movies are an exciting addition to this feature, because streaming media claims that the choice of content will change from time to time.
A Netflix representative confirmed this progress, saying: “You can use a computer or Android device (iOS browsers are not supported) to watch selected Netflix original movies and TV series online for free, and there is no need to create a Netflix account.”
This is another marketing strategy for Netflix to attract new users. The streaming media company stopped the free trial in India in December last year, and then proposed a different test in March. It offered specific new users a discount of only Rs 5 for the first month.
Indian Netflix also experimented with the Indian Netflix original drama “Bard of Blood” (Bard of Blood), and the first episode will be played for free to non-member users in India for a certain period of time. Non-member users can take advantage of this feature by visiting the dedicated website netflix.com/watch-free.
