We’ve spotted a rather interesting product on Indiegogo. It is called NexFan Ultra, and it’s a crowd-funded portable UV air cooler. The company claims this is “world’s first UV air cooler with powerful cooling and high energy efficiency”.
This campaign has been launched by NexFan, a US-based company. The campaign not only reached its goal, but managed to crush it, hard. The company aimed for $2,000 in order to start production, and it managed to collect $370,967 at the time of writing this article.
The campaign is still not over, there are four days left. This project found 4,265 backers, and if you calculate all that, the company raised 18,548-percent more than it originally aimed for.
It seems like a lot of people want a good, portable air cooler. Summer is right at our doorstep, and such a product could prove to be very useful for a lot of people.
The NexFan Ultra is already in production
The company has already pushed this product into production, as the goal has been met. The next step is shipping, of course. The company will send out the first batch of products on May 7, it seems.
The second and third batches will be shipped on May 11 and 15, respectively. You can find more information about that on the source link, in case you backed the project or still want to back it.
The company claims that the NexFan Ultra is a 4-in-1 device, it’s not just an air cooler. The company says that it provides multiple forms of superior air quality. That includes refrigeration, humidification, air purification, and aromatherapy.
This device is ultra-portable, and it comes with a USB charger. This tiny device can cool the air around you by 5℃/9℉ in an instant, claims the company. That will, of course, depend on the environment you’re in as well, of course.
This product utilizes an atomizer, while regular swamp coolers only use a moisture pad, says the company. The atomizer provides more spray volume through water depressurization in order to achieve a rapid temperature drop.
This product can deliver a refreshing breeze up to 5 ft. It has a three-dimensional corrugated network of wet curtains and a germ-free filter on the inside.
You can even power it via power bank, if you want
You can even hook the NexFan Ultra to a power bank, if you want. The company says that a 10,000mAh power bank can provide 12-hours of usage out of this product. The NexFan Ultra measures 144 x 161 x 159mm, in case you were wondering. It’s not even that loud at 68 dB.
The company is still offering some interesting perks to those of you who back the project. You can save up quite a bit of cash if you get two of these, for example. For more information, visit the company’s project by hitting the link below.
