We recently learned what the Galaxy Note 20+ camera should look like – monstrous. Leak expert Ice Universe now reveals what Samsung has put into the huge module. The setup therefore includes a periscope camera and a 50x zoom.
Samsung integrates a triple camera in the Galaxy Note 20+, claims Ice Universe in the Chinese network Weibo. There is said to be a 108 MP lens on board that accesses the ISOCELL Bright HM1. You can already find the sensor in the Galaxy S20 Ultra. A laser sensor should help the main camera, which should help with focusing. However, the camera had to do without a time-of-flight sensor. The manufacturer allegedly foregoes ToF, since the feature is not used by many users anyway.
Samsung ends the zoom race?
Speaking of deleted features, Samsung apparently uses a 13 MP periscope lens (ISOCELL Slim 3M5) for the Galaxy Note 20+, which is said to be responsible for the zoom. The maximum (digital) zoom should – as already suspected – be “only” 50 times. For comparison: With the 64 MP lens of the Galaxy S20 Ultra a 100x magnification is possible.
The third lens in the bundle should enable you to enjoy beautiful panoramic images such as landscape shots and architectural images: The Galaxy Note 20+ obviously also has an ultra-wide-angle lens, which has a resolution of 12 MP and is probably already found in the Galaxy S20.
